Can't really add anything to the tasting notes below, except to say that this was still very good. As a matter of fact, we drank it over 3 days and it was still kicking on the third day. Very good.

Tasted January 10, 2007 at an offline. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Light yellow to yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Light nose of citrus fruits. Simple and straightforward flavors of grapefruit and lemon. Light to medium acidity. Light bodied. Drink now.

Spain, etc., with MB (De Tapas Restaurant, Dallas, Texas): Nice Alvarinho, with a light golden color to it. Aromas involved sweet plums and some apricots, but for some reason I found this wine a bit backward. Aromas were followed by aged fruit and flowering leeche, and the finish was very clean.

Agree with the previous review- tight on the nose, esp for an alvarinho. Nice citrus on the palate with a moderate amount of acidity. This tastes more like a white Bordeaux than an alvrainho. I would like more floral scents on the nose and more tropical fruit on the palate. Still, a great wine that rivals many Sauv Blancs in this price range.
