  Deep golden colour.
  
  On first opening a rancio note but that blew off with about 15 minutes of pop and pour. What was lest was an intense honey and orange blossom nose.
  
  To taste, a lovely density to the palate, with honey, orange, turning to peaches and cream, with notes of fennel and herbs. A moderate acid framework and a slightly short finish.
  
  The standout for me was the gloriously plush mouthfeel. Like padding your mouth with liquid velvet. To balance however I felt the nose was slightly shy and the palate a little dilute with only a moderate length.
  
  I expected a little more from a wine of this pedigree but despite the reservations all is forgiven-ish by the fantastic mouthfeel.

  Good colour, dark hue on it. Nutty, waxy full rich palate almost has tannin feel. Good citrus side to it, no oak at all. Expected a lot more in a way. Still a very solid wine. Lots of life ahead of it. 92-93 bug one must like the style. We for the record do.
