Too much oak at first, both on the nose and on the palate. But as it warmed up, the wood faded, and the wine came through beautifully. By the end of the bottle, rich, full, vineous white Burgundy. So... don't overchill.
Not "fruity" as much as floral. Soft, round, harmoneous. Went wonderfully with fish and leeks. Don't like numerical ratings, because there is a lot of context there, but in my world, this would be a 95 (full disclosure: I don't often get up to the $50 / bottle entries).

Very elegant, crisp and fresh with a clear undertone of minerality. An excellent white Burgundy, competing with bigger names from Chassagne and Puligny!

Light straw color with a tinge of green. The nose opens slowly with honey and french oak. The palate is light to medium bodied with a spine of acidity running through to the finish. Flavors of honey, pine resin, minerals, lemon and some pear persist on a medium finish. This is a tasty wine that's just a little to acidic for my taste at the moment.
