Quick note, lemon nose with a interesting nutmeg component. The palate is surprisingly disparate in that it has a creamy, medium plus mid-palate, with a mineral stone fruit finish. A bit too rich on the palate, given the citrus and mineral qualities, but overall not bad

Strangely muted in comparison to the 2012, with aromas of hay, orange blossom and spice. The medium-bodied palate is savory throughout with flavors of straw and orange rind, along with some softer melon notes. The ever present straw characteristics continue through the finish with some herbal notes.

Aromas of honey, apple cinnamon, and candied lemon. Medium-bodied on the palate with chardonnay characteristics, medium-plus acid, and a citrus yet sherry-like nutty finish. A good, fairly conservative wine to get hardline US chardonnay drinkers to venture beyond that grape.

Popped and poured, light yellow gold with the faintest hint of spritz. Citrus zest, lemon verbena, honeysuckle and chalky minerals on the nose. Medium-plus body, deceptively concentrated. Flavors mirror the nose, the lemon-honey element gaining in prominence along with additional notes of tropical fruits and a hint of petrol. Nice kick of acidity cuts through the concentration and keeps everything lively on the moderate close. Like a riper-year Chablis with the concentration of Condrieu, tasty stuff.

Broad, medium-bodied white with good viscosity. The acidity is fairly hidden beneath the texture of the wine. Flowers rather than citrus.
