Reassuring pale green gold after the previous 2005. Lovely nose of white pear, white stone fruits, lemon sherbets and limestone earth. Fine palate with good grip and drive. Finishes with great balance. A lovely maturing Puligny at 14 years with plenty of life.

Close to perfect mature Puligny. A touch of salinity, purity, concentration, complexity, very fresh with just the beginning of secondary flavors. Color is much more advanced than the palate. Delicious!!

Initially seemed a little dark and nutty on the nose but with air quickly settled and looked more yellow/green and the nose developed classic peach and white pear character with saline/limestone touches. Palate rich fruits with very good mineral cut and length. Classic aged Puligny.

had two bottles of this over two nights, both were same so i'll do in one note... this wine had aged a ton for only ten years old (maybe on the way to premix?), on the open you could get on the nose and palate the lemon flavors but already honeyed in a big way, and only got more so as it aired out... very very nice round rich, thick mouthfeel, some minerals, ZERO bite/grip if you know what i mean... this almost tasted like a desert wine... not my favorite profile but if you like that older honeyed thing you would have loved this (and rated it higher than me)...
