Another great bottle of Ridge. Distinctively Ridge - brambly fruit, American oak, easy to drink. Still has some years to go in my opinion.

Thought this to be more on the red than black fruits than last time. But the essence is the same. Amazing wine for your buck. Flavorful, but elegant, full bodied, but never overboarding. Clean, precise, polished, Ridge. Great. 17/20

I gave this an hour in the glass before drinking over next 3 hours. Plums, light in body, red fruits. I had the 2014 which was lovely a few months back. This was decent. It can still hold for a few more years but I do not see an upside in doing so. .

Medium purple color; sweet black cherry , menthol and anise nose; smooth, well integrated tannins with persistent fruit on the finish. Very enjoyable to drink. It needed some time to open up.
