Rich, dense, chewy. Full fruit, good acid. Structure fully integrated. This is in a very good place. A mouthful of wine, full fruited but not sweet. I wouldn't hold this more than a few more years. Very good. These guys always make good wine between new and old world.

Very good, dense, dark, purple expressive Syrah. Lovely floral notes. Rich fruit. At this point it's a little short on structure but has good firm acid. Solid, fruit forward. I wouldn't push the age too much longer. Drink over the next year or two.
Falltacular 2018--some TNs (My House In The South OC): Opened yesterday, kept cool overnight under opened cork. Pours fairly dark, it's noticeable as it hits the glass. Floral, in the potpourri style that would suggest some whole cluster (not sure though if Evan uses any?). This is plush, generous, with a graham cracker note (oak here?) and blue fruit. This hit me with a flashy edge, I suspect because of the wood and the moderately decadent blue tones, as well as some of the purple flower kind of thing. This is good, with some modern, new world qualities that I enjoy.
