Decent bottle of wine. Through a good amount of sediment. Not unpleasant by any means, but nothing of note to remember. Wouldn't buy again at this price point.

Hans tasting: Brickish red color. Nice fruit, with a little spice. Clean, and I didn't find this green. There are some decent tannins on the finish, but I thought this lacked the structure to keep it very interesting. Unfortunately, a decent bottle, but very forgettable. 82-84

Hans Krueger Selections Tasting (The Jug): Typical merlot I guess. Underripe black cherries, some stemminess, on the nose and palate with a bit of heat towards finish. The texture is nice and velvety with soft tannins. Average merlot.

Out of the bottle, very chunky. Aerated and decanted, but initially tasted of funky earth. Let it sit for half an hour and the funk subsided, but still very earthy. In another half hour it was far better - fruity and more complex.
