Small single vineyard syrah, only 2ha. One hour open decant. Intense ruby red. Absolute fruit bomb. Very aromatic with cherries and blueberries and floral tones in the nose. Elegant yet complex. Nice integrated tannins.

Not decanted. Heavy, a lot of friut (almost too much). Improved over time. Not a bad wine but it's not terribly complex. 89 pts. at the moment.

Decero and Errazuriz winery visit; 1/26/2017-2/5/2017 (Argentina and Chile): somewhere along the line, they started labeling this as Syrah and not Shiraz. 1st Cumbre was 2001. Cumbre = Summit. suave, velvety texture, dark fruit aromas, not particularly floral or meaty.
