Compared to the Ghost Block 2012, this was less evolved and more tannic. Not a bad bottle by any stretch, but nothing special to report. Would serve again with more air time (gave it 1:00 decant)

I can't reconcile the price against the quality of this Cab. The savory, New World nose of Asian plum sauce, carob, and earth is encouraging. But the full-bodied palate is reticent in structure, and the black currant, chocolate, and cola flavors are just kind of there. There's nothing necessarily off, there's just nothing to ponder.
