Dull yellow colour. Aroma of mineral, citrus and kerosene. I would have to say kerosene is also evident in the flavour, I’m sure there is another word for it, but it is so evident, strong, sharp and volatile. Not an enjoyable wine for me, not at this stage anyway I certainly enjoyed it better last year. I hope it is just a phase it is going through. It is my last bottle though.

Acid Haus (Art & Design House, Wiliam Street): lime cordial…restrained acidity, touches of residual sugar married to the lime fruit which drops off quite quickly allowing the acidity to sharpen on the finish

Fresh and sharp. Not too acidic, mineral, green apple, lemon. Enjoyable young Riesling.
