Very balanced with great acidity and minerality. Peach, lemon, white flowers, very long finish that brings a slight nuttiness. Over delivers for the price $24.

Whites from Rully arguably deliver the most bang for one's Burgundy buck. This village-level offering from Louis Latour is no exception. Sourced from vines averaging 30 years in age, it was fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel. Light-to-medium golden and highly aromatic, it delivers a nice payload of orange zest, wet stones, golden delicious apples and pit fruits. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic and with seamless alcohol (listed as 13%), it has good mid-palate density but lacks the length on the finish that would vault it into the "outstanding" category. That said, this is a quality Chardonnay that overachieves. Drink now-2020.

Yellow apple and fresh nuts, a bit of peach and ripe lemon. Medium body, ripe flavours, but also fresh acidity to balance and some flint. Also good length.
Better than the St.Veran, more balanced.
