Really nice sauvignon blanc from California, has very crisp acidity (almost too much for my palate), nice stone fruit, and a decent finish. On the nose this has notes of freshly cut grass, meyer lemons, and wet clay. This reminds me of Spottswoode's sav blanc.
Overall nice sav blanc, decent QPR, well made. Middle of the road, nothing special, but have had worse.

Lovely tight nose of lemon, lychee, white flowers, with some hints of green pepper and nice slate-like minerality. Very pleasant on the palate as well, with a bit more emphasis on the green pepper, but balanced by some nice lemon and saline. Pretty good showing. This feels like it needs a few more years to me.
I still can't believe this was only $20.

This bottle is distinctly better than the last, with notes (in both nose and palate) of honeysuckle nectar, honeydew melon, and honey (imagine that combination!!), but it just isn't our style; we like the pungent, briskly acidic Marlborough SBs. Acidity is pretty low on this one; it would be a hard match with food. Difficult to rate.

Not bad at all. Nicely straddles the NZ SB and CA SB styles. However, nothing greatly impresses.
Grapefruit, grass.
Medium to medium+ acidity.
