  • Volltreffer!

  • Love this wine. Not as overtly fruity as some earlier efforts (in a relative sense, given that this wine is made in amphora). The fruit remains bright red, faint notes of pomegranate, firm acidic streak hoks the wine together, a few hours in the decanter helped soften. Brilliant winemaking as we've come to expect from Elisabetta.

  • A multidimensional nose with cranberry and forest berries, red-toned fruit, violets, cola, herbs, slight earth and some licorice lurking underneath. The light to medium-bodied palate continues with the same theme, with juicy red fruit and red berries. Good acidity, fine but noticeable tannins and long finish, tapering towards tart red berries. The initial reduction and the most primary fruit has now faded away, revealing the aromatic complexity. Very drinkable and enjoyable now, but will keep and maybe develop for still some time.

  • An organic wine produced in amphoras, yes we are getting very wine nerdy here. The nose has natural wine feel to it but the expression is clean and pure. The palate is very youthful and generous, nice high altitude coolness, flavours of raspberry/cassis mix, boysenberries, violets, green undergrowth, fresh plums, underlying sour tones and gravelly minerality. The good acidity accentuates the tasty character of this wine. An attractive clearcut and fruit driven wine which is drinking surprisingly well now but will last and continue to develop.
