Not quite there yet. This is dominated by ripe red fruits (mostly cherry) and is rather lively with nice acidic structure and nice mâche (chewiness). There is some spice on the nose and enough tanins that lead me to believe this should improve with age. There is a savoury streak to this that shows up on the finish. I'll wait a while before opening another one.

Tasted at La Escargot 1903 Puteaux Paris. Bright ruby color, medium body, vibrant floral spice and cherry fruits with dusty rose and soft smooth tannins on the lingering finish.

Very comparable to my note of November 2021. Excellent value at 20 CHF a bottle. Next bottle in 2-3 years.

Second bottle. Cherry fruit, well-judged acidity and good length. I look forward to tasting this wine again in two years. This is excellent value.
