Tasty and drinking well w 5yrs age on it. Lots of apricot, soft pear, roasted lemon and something tropical, I like the subtle oak treatment here as well as the elegance bordering on decadence. A bit ripe and opulent for my everyday tastes, but well-made with good acidity and a touch of mineral to clean it up. I agree with others that it’s a tad hot ABV-wise.
I’d like to give this another whirl from a cooler vintage perhaps.

Fruity, with peach, Apricot, grilled lemon, some minerality/smoke. On the palate rich and firm, medium acidity, tropical fruits with a mineral twist. A slight bitterness on the finish, but besides that quite good. With food the bitterness was not noticeable.

Feb 2018: had again with salmon roe and rice, also with veggies and beans. did not like.
Jan 2018: Had with some sort of fish dish, I can't remember what exactly. Liked it quite a bit less than the time before. R was meh too. Try serving it colder (40-45°).
Oct 2017: had with salmon w anchovy sauce, then later frittata and sauteed kale. quite liked it both times. weighty though only 5% new oak. intense, peach and floral, saline finish.
Sep 2017 (tasting): Tart, tasty, weighty. Good fish wine?
