51% semillon, 49% sauvignon blanc; 10% in new barrels and 90% in old barrels, for 6 months.
I came to this having previously enjoyed the 2018 (53% semillion, 47% sauvignon blanc; 5% new barrels, 50% old barrels, 45% vats, for 6 months), but this is very different.
It takes maybe 30 minutes of air before it settles down.
The nose is fresh, lean and minerally; the same on the palate with some citrus and grass, maybe a hint of white flowers; the acidity is moderate and crisp. The finish is fairly long, a little drying and more-ish.
As a previous tasting note suggested, this does bear some resemblance to a nice minerally Italian wine, and it's very very different from the 2018 which had much higher oaking and a somewhat sweeter element, presumably as a result.

A surprisingly lean and linear wine . On nose: after a 1 hour decant , shy notes of minerals and melon rind . On palate: a follow through of the above , enhanced and clarified by notes of hay, faint lemon and an intriguing funk of botrytis , in addition to notes of smoke and sea salt ... blind tasted, one taster suggested Sicilian Carricante....the dry wine of Sauterne legend , Ch.Suduiraut ....made with much younger vines of Semillon and Sauv Blanc....and happily , minimal oak . Ideal Oyster, and shellfish wine.
