A respectable and fruit forward style which I had tonight following a Long Island champagne. Very slight strawberry amidst a mineral driven and slightly astringent mouthfeel. Not bad because but also not memorable.

Poured as part of a rose tasting that we did with our family this weekend. For most everyone in the family this was the favorite (not mine however although I can see what they liked). This is very aptly named. There's lots of tropical fruit and a certain lightness and enjoyablity to the wine. It's easy. And tasty.

I could not agree more with the previous note. This is very much the extra fruity and bright and lots of citrus and strawberry notes. The 'Summer in a Bottle' moniker seems fitting. It's just a 'happy' wine is there is such a thing. Not complex, not overly intriguing, not well priced really. But this is something I'd look for on a hot summer day.

I now understand why everyone in NYC seems to request this bottle of wine. The wine is fresh and bright on the palate with loads of juicy red and citrus fruits and maybe a hint a sweetness. It's a very nice food wine and definitely sips well on it's own. It may not be the best rose for $25 but I can't think of anything better in this fruit-forward style.

Very impressive Long Island Rose. Nice fruit flavors backed up by significant acidity. Great summer sipper with or without food.
