  • At GramC with Lobster Lumache…..
Steeley with a hint of creaminess. Focused with a touch of sea salt.
Subtle and complimentary to the food

  • Light golden green in color. On the nose, lemongrass, citrus pith, fresh cut green herbs, and oyster shells. It's crisp, fresh and bright, yet subtly intense on the palate. Deep, yet light on its feet. Midweighted, finely detailed, crystal clean with more citrus pith, some nuttiness, savory green herbs, tarragon with tons of chalky soil driven notes with a mouthwateringly fresh finish. I've likely drunk 6 of these since my last TN, and all are showing similarly delicious. It seems to be coming into its own right now, and will likely stay there for some time. That said, it's so good right now I can't see a great reason aside from academic curiosity to hold. Outstanding. 92

  • My first time with this wine. I have really enjoyed their rose and decided to try this out.

Lemongrass, citrus pith, subtle white flowers, herbs and a sense of waxiness on the nose. A fresh and complicated nose that gives more as it opens. On the palate, it's a little tight in the beginning, but unfurls with breadth and simultaneous lift. It's structured but mid only weighted and focused with lemon curd, and some marzipan, but mostly it's about a sense of soil. A chalky- oyster shell sense of minerality gives depth and a sense of focus to this teriffically balanced wine with excellent dry extract, tension and balance. A serious, deep, understated wine that has great focus and clarity. This continued to open and morph into something more complex as it got more air and warmed up. Finishes quite long. Drinking great right now and I have no idea how this wine ages, but it seems to have what it needs for the at least mid term. That said, it is so good right now, I doubt I will give the remaining bottles that opportunity.
