  • Nose is a little restrained in the beginning but has so many different layers.
Chrushed almonds, lemon peel, meringue, chalky notes, toast, yoghurt, sweet pear and a hint of acacia and chamomile.
Has a lot of weight on the palate as you would expect from a grand cru, and love the tension which is so classic to this vintage.
I left a little for the day after and was so suprised to see how this wine evolved in a good way! It had a lot more personality indicating that the wine will show better over time. If you have a bottle, I would wait at least another year!

  • The light straw color is deceiving because there’s a prominent citrusy pineapple nose with an acidic mineral tartness to the finish.

As expected from a grand cru, the fruit concentration is not lost in the acidic balance of a classic Chablis. Clean, bright Chardonnay that lingers pleasantly with a refreshing mouthfeel and only slight hint of oak.

This 2014 can surely hang around for a while longer which will likely soften the minerality without loosing its true Chablis character.

  • Pale almost white coloring. Clean, crisp and high acid with enough creaminess and depth to keep it from being too austere. Tart grapefruit, lemon bar, granite, flowers, and a touch of brioche. Incredibly young and in need of 3-5 years to fatten up.
