  This is my first Centesimino, and a mighty fine one at that. Deep red ruby, with a semi aromatic nose of red berries, sweet baking spices, roses and bay leaf. The palate is dry, but fruit forward and spicy, consistent with the nose. The acidity and tannins are medium to medium (+). The alcohol is high at 15% but is well integrated and not noticeable. This wine is drinking very well now and - although likely to show well for several years - is really not meant to be aged. Tried it twice with similar notes.
