Deep dark purple, not quite black. Strong aroma of dry spice, pepper, old oak. Cheery stands out at first taste, plum, dark chocolate, light spice. Medium plus body, medium finish. Dusty creamy tannin, well balanced acidity. Very smooth, slightly sweet and spicy.
