  • Settling in quite nicely. Characteristic red cherries and bright fruit. The acidity and tannins are integrating. Already good with youthful vibrancy, I suspect it will continue to get better over the next 5 years and beyond.

  • This was quite impressive at age 10. And it's not even close to their top cuvee. If you need an argument to lay down your basic Brunelli for a few more years than usual, this is it.

Cinnamon, anise, dried mushrooms, black licorice, forest floor and ripe red cherries on the nose. High intensity of aromas. The palate starts pretty consistent with the nose; but then adds ripe strawberries, fresh mint, fresh eucalyptus and, toward the end, bitter herbs. High intensity of flavors too.

I really like the ratio of tertiary to primary notes on this wine. I also like that the fruit is not completely cooked/dried either. It's still fresh. For me, this is the sweet spot of bottle age for a basic Brunello.

Medium + body with medium + acid and medium tannin. 15% alcohol that you can't detact at all when drinking this. Absolutely love where ths is right now. For my palate, it's at peak.

  • This is more about elegance than power, has telltale signs of its terroir with leather, sundried tomatoes, a lean red fruit profile, almost light-bodied, with beautiful acidity. This is showing great now, and held up perfectly on the 2nd day. Very expressive and captivating style with nothing overdone. 93+pts.

  • Pretty average Brunello, medium-bodied, acidity a little pronounced.

  • PnP - lighter bodied Brunello. Fruit and matched acidity still going strong. Zero tannins. Very good, but not great.
