In a tough spot right now. Hibernating. Brambly dark red raspberry, amarena cherry, dried fig. Would like to revisit to see it in a more expressive state.

Per front label, “Every man should pull a boat over a mountain once in his life.” -Werner Herzog
Nebbiolo 52%, Mourvèdre 48%. 12.6% abv
Ruby with transparent dusky tinge. Nose bright red cherries with hint of metallic iron note. Palate bright red cherries and cranberries with some floral/earthy garrigue, pronounced metallic minerality, deep tea note with flecks of ferrous flavor. Very nice, good with chicken nuggets and pasta
