This is interesting. Some thought the bottle was flawed. It came across like a still orange wine. Burnt orange color. Foamy head but little in the wine. Geeky, no doubt, but wasn't exciting enough for anyone to revisit except to taste and say "pass".

This was really good! Tart, quite full and rich red fruit. The wine was voluminous in the mouth, as layers of wild red fruit, and minerals played together. The wine put on weight and complexity as I drank it. Outstanding! Disgorged: July 2017 4g dosage.

Burnt rose/orange robe, fresh red apple and caramel nose, punchy and intense bitter mouth feeling, rather short finish. Definitely a food champagne

Current Release Champagne from Marie Courtin (Dig Wines, San Francisco): 2012 base wine. Mixed red fruits but funny, discordant flavors in this bottle. My least favorite of the 5 wines tonight.
