Twelve Vintages of Lafon Montrachet: I thought this was fantastic, and a much better bottle than one six months ago. I'm a huge fan of 2015 whites, and tonight's bottle no exception. Lot's of oak and matchstick that some couldn't fully look past.

Atlanta Amoureuses & Monty Dinner: Double decanted for 1.5 hours. Much more richness and roundness than the 14/17, but with the same depth and precision and acid core. Different strokes, most preferred the other two, but I thought this one was still brilliant.

Another lovely bottle from the 2015 vintage. Drunk side by side with the 2014, and I liked the 2015 better tonight.

Lafon Montrachet vertical with some great champagne and reds. (Four Seasons, Minneapolis, MN): Vertical tasting of Montrachet 2000-2019: Some matchstick that blows off. Big honeysuckle and beeswax on the nose. Viscous, rich, more 'fat'. Not the acidity of some of the others. Voluptuous and delicious. Top third rating for me.

Montrachet: Very good, but understated relative to a bottle eighteen months ago. I'm a fan but this underperformed.
