Pale yello color, nice bouquet of pineapple and wet stones, the wine has excellent minerality and fruit, good acidity, some oakiness still evident with a long finish. Drinking nicely now and likely to improve with another 2-3 years.

(Bgn GC 2015 tasting, semi-blind) Full and deep nose. Minerally. Almost petrol-like on first whiff. Flowers and perfume. Oyster shells and gravel. Yellow apple. Fullish palate. Quite deep, dense and concentrated. Long and spicy. But also a bit rustic.

Intense butter oak, citrus, lemon High acidity, med+ body Flavours of sweet pear, apple, minerality, cream, vanilla spice Great balance, good length, great intensity, good complexity

bright golden yellow. Bouquet is still influenced by the wood; yellow fruit, a little blossom honey, brioche. Amazingly full-bodied on the palate; I lack clarity and freshness for this 1er Cru location.
