Decanted over cocktails. Bright, pulpy purple fruit fills the palate in a distinctively Stag's Leap manner. Tannins are still strong but accessible. A rich, pure Cab entering its drinking window with room for improvement in time. 95+
This is the kind of wine that will tempt you to discuss politics with old friends, lulling you into a false sense of security and comfort. Don't do it.

As always, a spectacular Futo. Never misses a beat when drinking either the Stags Leap or Oakville offerings.

Perfect balance of dark fruit, tannins and acidity. Still young so still secondary tones of oak and limited to tertiary notes

Only getting better. Still young, but another 2-3 years it could be a perfect wine.

Just a stunner and tremendous with the Prime Rib.
Always tough to decide which Futo I prefer, Oakville or Stags Leap.
