This may be my favorite bottling from Hartford, and was consensus wine of the night for coravin tasting of 8 high end Cal and Oregon pinots. Everything you want; nose, midpalate, finish balance, etc. Opened the rest of the bottle afterward. No rush with this; may have upside yet.

Decanted an hour, drank as cocktail with Ashley before tomahawk steak. Great wine. Full bodied, great flavors, enough acid to keep balance but round enough to enjoy with or without appetizers. Took a couple hours for the two of us to kill the bottle (enough time for steak to come to room temperature and cook) and was a pleasure to the last drop. Could get better still, but why wait?

A little more angular and more European style in this vintage I am being told. Goldridge fine sandy loam soil- the uplifted ocean soil. With some loam-yness on the nose but also lots of rich fruit throughout the palate as well. And has a fair tension on the back of the palate too. Smells like the soil its on I am being told.

PnP. Silky smooth. Some darker tones. Top of the line.
