This has opened since my last experience 18 months ago. More prominent fruit on the palate...cherry, plum and cassis. A little smoky and earthy on the finish. Medium bodied with a medium finish.

Tasted at the winery. Medium ruby color and clear. Moderate aromas of baking spice, asphalt, bacon fat and tennis balls. Dry with a medium body. Fresh acidity. Low tannins and fair balance. Moderate flavors of sour candy, cranberries, raisins and pencil. Medium finish. Ok.
