Has some leather, and earth notes to compliment some pepper and fruit, dried cherries. Others have commented that This French wine is not at all heavy of flavor, I'd agree. Definitly not a forwaed wine. It has a smooth medium finish. It's a good value in taste for the price.

Smoky crushed cigar on the nose and palate. Not especially fruity, some sour cherry coming through. Long, really nice finish with soft tannins and some acid. Really pleasant overall. Excellent balance fora $7 wine. Great QPR. Will buy more.

I must first admit I am a huge fan of this wine, year in, year out - I don't particularly understand some of the negative reviews outside of VLM... Nicely perfumed on the nose, with loads of red/black fruits, fresh... On the palate the wine offers amazing fruit and balance out of a wine that costs less than $10 - what's better is this wine holds up over a couple of days if you are so inclined. Great value.

intriguing beach tar nose, mesquite or pine wood hot a little bitter, after opening up a bit the beach tar is the finish on the wine too only a little blackberry or sour plum in the middle. strange and unpleasant.

nose: raspberry flavored sweaty socks. A little bit of metal. palate:sour cherries, some wood chips, nice tannins. A complete red wine experience. And under $10.
