Deep ruby red colour with garnet edges. Medium nose with oak, hazelnuts and cooked red plum. Medium taste of cooked red cherry, vanilla, oak and hazelnuts. Medium long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium (+) tannins. Medium body. An acceptable Tuscany Red that lacks some complexity and fruitiness. Needed some time in the glass to open up. Drink now. Goes well with lamb.

Venue: Home; General Notes: Villa Puccini 2015 Toscana: "Oak Aged Tuscan Red Wine." Translation "The label says it was aged in oak casks but it tastes like it was aged in steel packed tight with oak chips, Tuscan by virtue of geography alone, and is red wine because it is from grapes." Have you ever seen a dog eat peanut butter? This is what it is like to taste this wine -- one's tongue keeps getting stuck to the roof of one's mouth. Made for the More-is-Better! American market. I love the person who gave me this bottle with all of my heart, but sometimes even Babe Ruth missed. One half star. ; Wine Notes: | Eco Style | Conventional | Wine Notes | "Oak Aged Tuscan Red Wine" ;

De la belle cerise et des épices. Un peu lourd toutefois sur l’extraction sans être sucré. Bien mais potentiel de garde limité.
