  • Amazing aromatic intensity! Smells and tastes of fresh baked minced meat pie with orange cello nutmeg and cinnamon. Dense mouth mouthfeel that lingers for days.

  • RUSSK Had at M&Taylor's. Nose of Roses (really). Mouth of boisenberry. Not too sweet. Wanted to keep drinking it. Could be a bit more tannic. Still a very nice dessert wine.

  • Very yummy. Everything was right where I like it. Alcohol a modest level under 12% and residual sugar was around 18. Good color, dark, but still let light through, where the red was seen as (i hate to use this term) slightly coagulated blood before it turns brown. The nose was very nice showcasing the fruit of the black muscat. Liqueured flavors of cherry and boysenberry with chocolate and coffee coat the entire palate. The texture and viscosity is important to comment on here. The palate was broad and deep, but not brooding or overwhelming. This wine knew how to control itself. Viscosity was not on level with a typical glass-coating dessert or port wine, but more along the lines of a typical red with a lightness in its step. Overall a nice buy and a nice offering from one of my love-to-hate producers. Consumed at my father, stevo_the_wino's house.

  • Not much change from other notes. The trick to bringing out the full potential of this wine is a chocolate desert.

  • 10/03/2007: Very good dessert wine, althought not very complex. Dark black purple color. The nose is raisin, vanilla and plumb> Very thick, fairly one diminisional mouthfeel, but very tasty, with dark fruit, blueberry and cocoa. Fishing is pleasant and sweet. Try with dark chocolate covered dried cherries and it becomes a 99+. Drink in the next year
