  opened this way too early, like 10 years too early but after 3 hours of air this really was really good. very left bank Bordeaux like. Subtle and layered with tobacco, iron, dark fruit, vanilla, bell pepper, and herbs. Palate was lively with earthy notes still leading the way but a touch brighter fruit mixed in. very long finish with really nice acid. This will be absolutely stunning(95+) in 2030. no idea who but the drinking window ending at 2022 as i would advise not touching this for several years after that

  Balanced, black fruit, medium tannins and acidity. It was a classic cab with the refinement and subtlety typical of McKenzie Mueller. It's not soft, just balnaced but with a strong back bone.
