Nice deep colour, pleasant but I agree with Halliday that it’s a bit too oaky and flat, heavy with a touch of salt and spice, yet a fairly short finish. Popped and poured and tasted at 18 deg. A bit disappointing for me as it came in the 2017 Langton’s “premium” red dozen yet sells for $37.50 on their website. Ok but not really premium IMO.

Great brooding dark fruit, thick glycerine like texture providing a glorious mouth feel.

Luscious body, deep red with purple hues. succulent fruit and well integrated acid and tannins. good length. 92
