Dinner @ Atera - both pairings (Atera - 77 Worth Street in NYC): From the regular wine pairing at Atera. I think I was a bit partial to this one over the higher end tasting option. This does pour a touch cloudy, but then there is a hint of sweetness that I appreciate in this that balances out the green side. And some lovely more white floral notes. Good acidity. A light and easy wine. Easy to like.

Unmistakably varietal driven wine. Pure, classic, direct, rich, layered, and complex. Spicy green nose of thyme, sage, celery, and orange. Flavors continue into celery, lemon, yellow apple, and white pepper.

Aromas of fresh green tarragon, baked pear, yellow peach, and yellow apple. The softest texture with some effervescence that remained even after a few days of opening. Plush, pillowy, just slightly oily. Quickly dissipates into spicy flavors of orange and a very long lingering spicy finish.
