Rim pale, centre ruby, no sediment. Immediately appealing bitter cherry nose. Smooth, medium weight, starting to dry slightly. Spiced plums in the middle. Great with food. Finishes dry but cherry is the abiding aftertaste. Not developing complexity, so will drink up and replace with next generation.

Delicious - raspberries, cherries, hint of lavender. Slightly bitter chocolate note as well. A beautifully balanced drop. Works well as a summer red served slightly chilled.

RUPERTG is spot on. Not as full and round as the Torre del Felasco that the Society used to stock, but this is better with food. Has lovely bite and a refreshing quality, and decent depth for the price. Whenever I eat Italian I drink this, so shall need another case shortly I reckon!

Dark centre, plum edge. Classic Italian nose, lovely bitter cherry mixed with ripe fruit. Brilliant approach to capturing much of the pleasure of Amarone at half the price. Good with food and cheese. Medium weight, lingers well with spicy plum finish. Good value.

9/17/2018 - Too much practice. Likes this wine:
Very pleasurable. Soft, smooth but genuine depth of flavour. Fine on it’s own and better still with food.
