I promised myself never to buy Larue again because i’m structurally unimpressed by their St. Aubin. Went against myself on this one and it turns out I was right to do so. Not half bad at this age. Apple, butter, oak and at first some stonefruit. After some time the wine freshens up and the stone fruit disappears and the acidity takes over. This will improve with 1 or 2 years but works fine at this moment.
