This is finally tamed! I made a huge mistake trying 2014 in 2018. Ready to enjoy now after 4 hours of slow ox. Secondary layers are showing and giving us a different experience. This is not the powerful alcoholic Toro anymore, but a surprisingly complex one. Conclusively, you may enjoy Victorino, San Román and other Toros at their early stages, but never a Pintia.

Vino "notaio" con una certa seriosità e un alcool iniziale alto. Ha bisogno di una decanting aggressivo che non ho fatto. Complesso ed elegante ma non piacione o popolare. Dopo molta ossigenazione, la sensazione alcoolica sparisce, e come i nebbiolo, esalta la qualità. 89 appena aperto, 93 l'ultimo bicchiere, dopo svariati giorni.

What a rude and demanding brat. The first and second glasses are completely odorless (believe me on this topic). The third glass and the fragrance are graciously opened, in the fourth one is allowed to be 'touched'. Anyway aromas are shy, delicate, fragile ( strange). Forest, cedar, flowers, earth. No red or black fruits ( strange). Taste is different story. From 'baby' aromas we jump to Superman flavors. Writing honestly, I do not remember drinking wine similar in terms of taste. Very powerful juice. Black pepper and spice is wonderfully mixed with flavors ( red currant, coffee, licorice). Tannins and acidity are in perfect harmony with the taste. Long spicy finish. Ok, let's be honest and really real... I paid about $75 for this juice and for this ticket I expect 'wow' factor. No 'wow' factor here. Unique and solid wine, but definitely overpriced and ... let's sing together... 🎼🎶🎵🎶🎶 no wow factor
