Geja's 44th Annual Wine Tasting Contest (Geja's Cafe, Chicago): Double blind. Light red color, and musty. I dumped it, got a clean glass and tried it again from the second decanter- exactly the same. Okay, so it's musty/dirty on the nose, and has medium body with flavors of cherry and spice on the palate. Perhaps a bit of red currant in there too, but remains musty on the nose. I do not care for this, and I have no idea what it is. I ended up guessing sauvignon from South Africa.
