First sample of this; very tasty; ripe baked apple, pastry dough, lemon tart, honeysuckle, crushed stone; a rich style of blanc de blancs with lovely depth and richness; the mousse is silky and fine and a brioche note lingers on the finish. No disgorgement info on the bottle, but the seller thought it was based on 2014-15.
No disgorgement on the label. 1812 on cork so could be Dec 2018. Baked lemon on the nose with some rancio notes. Clean, bright palate. Juicy lemon pie driving into a mineral, acid full finish. The rancio is here again on the palate. There is some amount of reserve wines in this blend making this not a big surprise. Initially it sort of sits and almost comes off like vinegar towards the finish. Over night it really integrates and nearly goes away. I'd suggest decanting or just giving this a lot of air given how the reserve wine integrates. The palate on night two shows real class and refinement. The complexity isn't really there for next level but a real geek of classic wines would be very impressed. Good stuff.

Good but short of the greatness of the last bottle. A bit sharp on the finish.

An excellent champagne, feels both rich from autolysis and austere from the Avize stony character. Could drink a lot of this--crowd-pleaser here.
