I agree with JMabby TN from last year. This did need 30-40 mins of air but began to sing on the nose and good richness on the palate. Med+ finish. VG QPR.

Really enjoyable. Bold nose full of dark berries. Palate tastes more complex than this varietal (Merlot) suggests. Excellent smooth tanginess that hints at robust dark fruits, but finishes with a sweet hint of maraschino cherry in dark chocolate! I approve!!

Don't like the name, rather confusing. Does smell good. With some new wood showing off. And palate is full and rounded but still lively. Long mineral finish to it.

Well the nose just gets me...I could smell this one all day with its dark cherry oak aromas entrapping my senses. There are also many levels of toast & vanilla evolving over the evening.
The palate carries silky & lush earthiness, black currant, hints of mint & mushrooms. Very balanced with a medium long finish.
Certainly will improve over the next couple of years, however, it makes a terrific birthday wine today.
Medium bodied, soft and with freshness in the fruit and soft tannins, there is a nice, round, fresh quality to the fruit in the finish. The wine was made from 100% Merlot.
