  Well, if I'm not mistaken I'm only the second person to write a note on this wine after Jeff Leve so I guess I have to be careful 😅
  Loads of dark fruit for sure. Good presence on the palate but the finish falls a bit short. I left two glasses for day 2 and these weren't the best.
  Drink or hold.

  Showing a nice depth of color, the wine offers truffle accented juicy, dark plums and cherries. The tannins are round, supple and polished, There is richness, freshness and character, along with vibrancy in the mouth and finish. Made from a blend of 52% old vine Merlot paired with 48% Cabernet Franc from vines with close to 50 years of age, this is a fabulous second effort from Simon Blanchard.
