Reaching the end of its life but definitely still very enjoyable. Decanted 2 hours ahead of first drink. Consumed over 2 nights. Warm berries and light spice.

This is in a nice drinking window right now. Haven’t had this ‘16 prior, but suspect the fruit is starting to let down a bit. Liking the current profile. Smoky, red cherry, strawberry, and a touch of vanilla. There’s some tertiary building in the background too. I wouldn’t hold these too much longer as it’s showing quite nicely now.

Sweet red fruits, maybe a touch stewed, with forest greenery. Palate is focused, light to medium bodied, with some spice, fruit sweetness and supple tannins. Good interest here. And nicely aromatic. Probably an early drinking style.

Wine-Ark boys on tour 2017 - Day 1 (Canberra Districts and Beechworth): Creamy to the point of milkiness, bit of earth over red berry's especially strawberry jam. Fruit is more to the fore with strawberries, again, to the fore on the palate with a bit of savoury spice. A little short perhaps but pretty handy.

Nice red and blue fruits, with a varietal palate weight and intensity. Clean, refreshing, with a bit of interest. Drink now.
