  • Domaine Bizot Collection Wine Dinner: 1401 bottles, 30 magnums, 6 jeroboams made.

Bottle uncorked in advance and poured into small white wine glasses acting as decanters for the guests. Assessed via Zalto Burgundy glass (“Root” day): Pale bright purplish ruby.

Ripe darker pinot fruits. Florals and sweet spices like cinnamon. A complete wine already and very convincing. Deep nose.

Again very complete wine on palate. Perfectly judged acidity and extraction in my view. Persistent finish. This is going to be a cellar favourite and looking forward to seeing this again in future - may be at least in 10 years' time!

    Solid 95 points for now.
