  • Wow, this looks like apple juice in the glass. The nose has a slight petrol note and red apple. Medium light acidity and more red apple. Chalky. Medium weight. Comes across as a euro wine.

  • Tasted double blind; incorrectly identified as an aged Alsatian Pinot Gris.

Medium lemon-green color. Med+ intense aromas of pineapple, tropical fruit, lychee-like aroma, elderflower, yeasty aromas from lees aging. Dry, med+ acidity, med alcohol (tasted higher), med body, med+ intensity a finish. Flavors of melon, tropical fruit, red apple, citrus, salt. Very good quality that is ready to drink now.

Blind tasting advice - don't get too hung up on the tropical fruit flavors, look for higher acidity, floral aromas, and saltiness on the finish to differentiate from Pinot Gris and Gruner Vetliner.

  • Fresh squeezed lemon and lime on the nose and palate, with a touch of ruby grapefruit and Crenshaw melon joining the party late. Good acidity, yet there's an appealing softness on the finish. Nice summertime value.

  • This pale yellow/green wine offers a nice crisp core of grapefruit, honeydew, jasmine and paprika. Light-bodied, fresh and without noticeable alcohol (12.5%), it has good mid-palate presence and excellent persistence on the back end. Those who enjoy the grape will find this one to be in the upper echelon. Drink now-2020.

  • Scents of peach and citrus. Tastes of melon, peach, and some orange rind. A little saltiness on the finish.
