With some creaminess on the palate and lemon zestiness. They don't want high pyrozine oysters. They want it food friendly, particularly with oysters. And they lower the canopy to... stone fruit on the finish.

Heavily discounted locally (M&S) for around $13, I like the change of pace here from my usual Lorie based SB. I think this see’s a little barrel as the wine carries an ever so slight creamy edge, and combined with a solid tropical repitoire of fruit, all is good. Reminds me of Pinot Blanc actually, deceptively versitile for food pairing I think as its easy to envision a lot of food / wine combos. Nice.

Pale straw color. Smells of ruby red grapefruit, guava and lemon with honey, perfume and hints of sliced green peppers. Medium+ bodied with a pleasantly plump texture but vibrant acidity. Chunky pineapple and guava fruit with a drizzle of lime juice, and I get some waxy/honeyed elements, white tea, vanilla, almond. A rich style but stays vibrant and crisp. The French oak barrel-fermented notes are woven in well and don’t dominate the other elements. Includes 5% Semillon.
