Pale yellow-green color tending towards lemon. Ripe, fragrant and subtly creamy nose with attractive aromas of golden apples, some cooling herbal tones, a little bit of apple blossom and a hint of buttery oak. Very lovely, Burgundian nose with good emphasis on the fruit, not on the oak. The wine is full-bodied, crisp and quite dense on the palate with fresh and quite complex flavors of golden apples, some creamy oak, a little bit of honeyed richness, light buttery tones, mineral hints of wet stones and tangy salinity and a touch of smoke. The overall feel is enjoyably structured and even somewhat acid-driven. The long finish is fresh and acid-driven with intense flavors of saline minerality, some ripe nectarine tones, a little bit of cool stony character, light buttery tones, a hint of juicy pineapple and a fragrant touch of vanilla blossom.

A beautiful, bright and mineral Mâconnais white that is remarkably fresh and balanced for a 2015 white Burgundy - especially one from the south. Starting to drink really well now, but the overall feel is very young and I can imagine this wine will continue to develop wonderfully with age. Great stuff with tons of future potential. Really lovely. Highly recommended.
