  • Update to note of 11/7/2021.

Colour: med gold, hint of brown tinge.
Nose: full, sl musky, some mirabelle.
Taste: light/med body, rounded, good acidity, mirabelle notes but somewhat tired and oaky, med finish, dry, mirabelle, almonds.
Overall, interesting to try the day after the 2015 (see separate note). This is enjoyable but does not hold a candle to the 2015. Also this note is very different to my last tasting of this wine.

  • Most of my information is in the tasting note for the 2018.
Interesting to try this vintage after five years.
    Colour: light gold, bright, clear
Nose: full, ripe, notable spice alongside the fruit, good varietal notes, hint of petrol
Taste: light body, rounded yet still v fresh, more austere varietal notes, some spice, perhaps a bit loose knit, good acidity, med finish, dry, baked apples, touch of citrus.
Overall, a good effort but lacks the depth of other vintages.
