Served blind. 2018 base. Tight initially it became more doughy showing citrus and stone fruit nectar with air. Spicy oak notes in front of richness. Harder at the finish.

Bookclub--Wines Tasted Blind (Foretti's in Corona Del Mar): Damn TCA. I sourced this while in Epernay to be poured blind alongside the Laherte Freres Les 7, to showcase a theme for all 7 cepages. I sensed the TCA when I opened it a few hours before dinner and then when I served it blind to my group, several guys called it out. ####! This happens very infrequently with TCA in the Champagne I drink but hen it happens, it sucks.

I didn't notice the disgorgement, so putting this as NV. I liked the acidity on this, but not the oxidative style or the roundness of the fruit. I am not usually a huge dosage fan, but this could really have used some to tie the wine together.

High hopes, but it didn't deliver for me. Somewhat chemical nose, quite interesting and unusual, rubbery notes perhaps. The palate was quite simple with high acidity and not much behind it. Brut nature is evident, as it is edgy. Doesn't have the stuffing or fruits to pull off the 0 dosage style.
